Pryes Brewing Engagement

We were recently listed as vendors on Offbeat Wed and it is such a good fit for us! We truly believe that your wedding day should be about whatever you want. That could mean adventuring in the woods, or getting matching tattoos and eating pizza. Offbeat Wed is a blog that focuses on real-life non-traditional weddings and helping you plan your own. Abby & Jill are the first couple to find us through our listing there, and we are so glad they did! Their Pryes Brewing engagement session is one for the books.

Abby & Jill met online in a My Favorite Murder fan group (IYKYK). They immediately clicked in spite of the fact that they lived across the country from each other. They made long distance work for years, visiting each other as much as they could. Their first date in Minnesota was at Pryes Brewing in Minneapolis. In our initial meeting, we talked about how fun it would be to do an engagement session there. We reached out to Pryes, and they were totally on board! Tip: if you want to do all or part of your engagement session in a local business, make sure to get in touch with them ahead of time. We want to make sure they are cool with us taking photos there, and figure out what times and days are quiet enough to allow for some privacy. Think weekdays, typically right at opening time. We met there on a Friday at 11am, and celebrated the end of long distance – finally!
